Bangoru Waterfall β€” Hidden Himalayan Gem

Bangoru Waterfall is a beautiful, largely undiscovered natural wonder 8 km from Baijnath. Crystal-clear, ice-cold mountain water cascades down moss-covered cliffs surrounded by dense Himalayan forest β€” a scene of extraordinary natural beauty, free from crowds.

About the Waterfall

Fed by glacial streams from the Dhauladhar range, the waterfall flows year-round. During monsoon (July to September), the volume swells dramatically. In post-monsoon October to November, the flow remains strong with the surrounding forest turning golden β€” exceptional for photography.

The Trail

An easy forest path of 1.5 to 2 km from the road, taking 30 to 45 minutes. The trail is relatively flat and suitable for families with children. The pine-scented forest air is refreshing throughout the walk.

Best Time to Visit

  • Peak season: June to September β€” waterfall at full dramatic flow
  • Good season: October to November β€” strong flow, golden forest, safe trail
